The park has many ammenities, such as, Swings, Slide, Basket Ball Court, Monkey Bars, Many Seats, Small Shelter to picnic under, etc.
The park was dedicated in memory of Michael Joe Morton in 1998 for his tireless pursuit to have a place for the children of the community to play without having to fear for their safety and keep them out of trouble.
The park is free for anyone in the Broad and Gales Creek Fire Tax District to use.
